Description: Very unusual antique brass crotal or hand held round bell. The first bells evented were round and made of copper. The lower half of this bell has very crudly cut teeth that curl inward. (No sharp edges) The crotal has a floral pattern around it inlaid with red and also on the top of the handle. The red inlay is crude also. The crotal is 4 " tall. This has been a conversation piece and a half. I wish I knew more about it. I got it from a man who brought it back after WWII.
