Description:
Generally pieces in this famous Selro-Selini design were unsigned as they were originally sold with hang tags.
This demi-parure features the classic Asian Princess in the form of a bolo necklace and a brooch. The faces are composed of resin which resembles ivory. The lady at the centerpiece of the bolo has a faux pearl beneath her chin that is in very good condition without wear to the nacre. The brooch, which is 1 3/4" long, has an emerald-colored rhinestone beneath her chin. Also, her face is has a more lustrous overlay which makes it appear pearl-like.
The goldtone metal on these pieces is in excellent vintage condition, sans tarnishing. There is, as is so often the case with this type of jewelry, a bit of wear to the hand-painted features, though nothing too distracting, I wouldn't say.
