Description: This is a beautiful and very artistic plate made by The United States Ceramic Tile Company circa 1950. This plate is 6-1/2" in diameter and almost 1" deep. In the middle there is an incised drawing of two horses with a cactus in the background and a river at the bottom. The border rim is in a brushed charcoal gray, the middle is a turquoise. On the back is embossed "United States Ceramic Tile Company" around the bottom and in the middle is a square mark with a Spartan soldier and "Romany - Spartan". The company is still in business in California.
