Description: initially we thought this was a watch holder, but then we perceived the ormolu star ring appears too narrow for a watch,so it then follows that this is a circular portrait stand / epergne for a lady's dressing table. It even has a beveled mirror dating this unique set to ca. 1920 - 1930.
