Description: This is a unique dagger crafted of solid sterling silver with added gold adornment. It is sheathed in a scabbard of sterling silver and both dagger and scabbard are encased in a presentation box, hinged with silver hinges, closed by a sterling clasp, and bearing a silver medallion engraved with "Il Pugnale Paradiso", H.I. Driggs. 38.5 Troy ounces of silver, 8 additional ounces plated with 24 karat gold, 11.5 Troy ounces utilized on the case. Dagger in scabbard: 5 1/2" by 14" by 3 1/2"; presentation case: 10" by 18 1/2" by 5"
