Description: Unique percussion single-shot cane-handled pocket pistol. Back action percussion lock marked with British maker H. Merideth; 5-5/8th inch octagonal barrel marked LONDON. About 10 inches overall length. Barrel held to foreend by key with Silver escutcheons on each side. High end gun with Silver inlay of birds on left handle, Silver escucheon to rear of barrel tang. Lock and barrel breech and barrel tang nicely engraved with floral scenes. Breech has three platinum bands. Grips checkered and checkering shows only moderate wear. Engraved silver buttcap with small flip-open patch box. Fine condition. Needs ram rod.
