Description: We are pleased to offer this unique Wall Clock. We purchased this piece locally and were told it is custom made out of an old Cedar Chest with other old furniture parts. The clock front and lower works are old parts from discarded clocks as well with the lower works being from E. Ingraham & Com. and dated Oct. 1878. When we purchased the clock it was not working, we had an old Battery Operated Pendulum style works added to the piece so it now can actually be used to tell time. The Pendulum swings back and forth and the clock runs, you can adjust the bottom of the Pendulum to make the clock run faster or slower. There are also two small side shelves that can be used to display small items. The old works on the bottom of the clock are inside a glass door and probably can be removed if you like for additional storage. The piece is solid and heavy, who ever made this was a true craftsman to made something this beautiful out of really left over parts. It is truly ONE OF A KIND. Would make a great addition to any home and a wonderful investment as well.
