Description: Here's an old advertising box from the Waterbury Hook and Eye Co. of Waterbury, Connecticut...Union Swan Bill. It contained silvered hooks and eyes. There's an image of a black swan on the box. There is edge wear, light soiling and the lid has to broken corners as seen in the photos. If you are a collector of early advertising boxes, sewing-related items or items that have swan images, this Victorian era box fits the bill!
