Description: This is a very nice 3/4" wide x 15.6" long corner chisel, marked "MFG. by UNION HARDWARE COMPANY TORRINGTON CONN. U.S.A." on the steel. The steel is in great shape, ready to work, (you may want to hone is slightly), minor darkening or staining on the steel, well cared for over the years. It fitted with a very nice hard maple handle with a good heavy iron ring on the end, solid in very good condition. A rather hard to find, quality made chisel, by a well known edge tool maker!
