Description: UNICEF African American Barbie produced in 1989 only. Barbie is dressed in a beautiful red, white and blue gown with long white gloves. The top of the gown is white with a red sash which is trimmed in gold and has a blue star on it, the skirt of the gown is a dark blue with lighter colored blue stars. Also inclued in the box is a poster called "The Rights of the Child". She is MINT in the box, never removed from the box and the box is in good condition with some minor shelf wear in the form of two creases at the top of the top which cause the plastic front to buckle across the top. This buckle is common on these boxes. I purchased her new and she has been stored away from the dust and light in a smoke free home. UNICEF Barbie would be a beautiful addition to your collection!
