Twin Oaks Tobacco was manufactured in Jersey City, New Jersey, and had a huge give-a-away in the 1920s of Twin Oaks Tobacco Mixture to prove that they were the most desirable tobacco mixture on the market.
This is a Twin Oaks Tobacco Mixture Tin, Gold Series. It is 4-3/8” high, 3-3/8” wide, and 1-1/16” deep. The red decorative color in and around the acorns, oak trees and printing is in excellent condition. The hinged top works perfectly and clips securely shut. This Twin Oaks Mixture tin would make a terrific addition to any collection of tobacciana. Also offered with it is: This is a unique little tin by Yocum Bros, in really good shape, says 10 class cigars, some of the blue stamp is gone that originally sealed it, stamp on side says retail at no more than 8cents eachand not more than 15 cents each, says factory #103 1st Dist PA on back with an odd looking 10 under it, also on the side edge where it opens you need a magnifying glass to find it, it says Liberty Can Co, Lancaster PA. Measures 5 X 3-1/2 x 1-3/8, an awesome and rare treasure!
