Description: Fine quality set of twelve carved mahogany Victorian dining room chairs. The suite includes two large armchairs with carved lion heads on the end of the arms and fancy rope twist carved supports for the arms. These chairs have wonderful carved detail and beaded moldings. Notice the intricately carved stretchers on the base. Sets of twelve chairs from this period are most difficult to find in good condition. These chairs were reupholstered by the previous owner. Some are loose and we would recommend having them reglued when they are reupholstered. We can have both jobs done for you.
