Description: Vintage wooden vanity & bench that have been custom hand painted with a trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) touch. The vanity has envelope and silver comb and mirror painted on top and a lace hankie and black stocking hanging from a drawer on each side. The vanity has a battenburg lace doilie painted on top and the bench has the same lace painted down each side. The bench is covered with white fabric and matching lace. Everyone has to touch the doilie & bench, they don't believe that it has been painted. A large mirror is also included with this piece. The vanity is 50 " wide. I also have a complete custom painted bedroom set listed with a vanity like this one. I usually use Greyhound Express on the larger furniture items to keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible.
