Description: Here is a beautiful, hand carved wooden masher. This fascinating specimen has a patina that only old treenware can garner. The handle end of the masher has an almost satin like feel to the hand. The wood has a very attractive rippled grain pattern around the circumference of the masher that resembles a wave pattern and there is a little ring of knots at the base of the handle. What a conversation piece!! There is an age crack on one side of this piece that adds real character. The overall length of this specimen is 14” with a diameter of 3 ¾” at the base tapering to 1” at the tip. This is a truly collectible piece and it would make a great accent piece for any room.
