Description:
This very detailed and colorful 4 part serving dish is marked: Treasure Craft/Made in USA. Treasure Craft was founded in Gardena, California, in 1945 by Alfred A. Levin. He began his business by selling items manufactured by local California potters. By the early 1950's Treasure Craft was manufacturing its own ceramics and had expanded to several small locations in southern California. Treasure Craft in 1972 and succeeded his father as President.
In November 1988, Treasure Craft was acquired by the Pfaltzgraff Company of York, Pennsylvania.
With a brown wood grain rim it has a pattern of 4 different fruits (apples, strawberry's, pears and grapes) with leaves with a colorful high gloss swirled center in yellow, brown, green, orange and white. In very good condition, it does hate a dot or two of missing glaze which are on the underside and it measures 1 3/4 inches high, 13 1/2 inches long by 13 1/2 inches wide.
