Description: To a fine and rare American hard pine c.1790-1810 transom window. The frame is mounted with lead and tinned iron supports. Applied to the front are various lead ornaments which appear to retain some of the original guilding and black background. This example is wonderfully decorated and retains some of the original glass. It was in the collection of the Henry Ford museum in Dearborn, MI.
