Description: Earthenware pottery platter with scene of polar exploration. Signed on the back in blue ink under glaze. Perfect condition, no breaks or chips, very slight age staining on the rim edge, but not visible unless you look VERY closely, just mentioned to be precise. I have been unable to deciper the signature which is in script.
