Description: I can't honestly date this absolutely but has to be around the 1950's-70's...the inner band is made of real cane net material. The inner label says " Flight Crew Gear from Trans Aids-Australia...Sydney". TAA was established by a Government Act in 1946, in competition with Australian National Airlines...which later became Ansett Airlines. TAA became AUSTRALIAN AIRLINES in 1986 and then became part of QANTAS IN 1992. This cap is in excellent condition for its age with no tears or moth holes.
