Description: Tramp Art Jewelry Box. Circa 1900 . American. Excellent condition with original hinges removed. Lid has hidden compartments and inside has a divided inset in old green paint. Chip carved single layer, made from recycled cigar boxes with interior decorated with various patterned wallpaper. Overall design is intricate faux orientalia with leaves, star bursts and mandalas.
