Description: WOODEN TOY VILLAGE - This wooden village contains 58 pieces including houses, trees, animals, people and other assorted pieces. Note that the house, roof and chimney are separate pieces. The doors and windows are printed on to the wood. The manufacture of the village predates the use of lithography in toys so, most likely, it dates to second half of the 19th century. The pieces are very small thus this toy should not be purchased for use by young children.
