This painting was purchased directly from Robert MacIsaac in Grosse Pointe, MI. It is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and a Notarized Affidavit of Provenance.
In this energetic original oil painting MacIsaac abstracts a street scene in a quaint town with bold linear strokes of vibrant color. Fearless brushwork, liberal application of paint and the brave use of red, yellow and blue combine to make this an unforgettable masterpiece. The short brushstrokes move downward from the sky and blend in to the foreground, suggesting the movement of rain. The painting is mounted in a silver wooden frame with an inner ribbed black border. With the frame the piece measures 28 ¼”x 24 ¼”. This is truly a remarkable piece of fine art and would be an amazing, and affordable, addition to any collection.
