Description: Very long neclace with tortoise shell links and 14 ct gold links in between with 21 elephants [one of them is only a head] on it. The neclace is around 92 [36 inches] long. The gold links are not welded, I think because otherwise the tortoise shell would get too hot, but also you can make it easy shorter, because I find it very long. The biggest elephant under is 14 ct gold. There is a dutch gold stamp on the back. It is attached on the tortoise shell with golden screws. It has an ivory tooth and the eye is a garnet or a ruby. Diameter of the pendant of tortoise shell where it is attached on is 6.8 centimeter [2.67 inches]. I have been weighing the pendant alone and it is around 28 gram. Most of that is gold, because tortoise shell is quite light. Now come the other elephants. On th right side of the big pendant, first there comes a massif 14 ct. gold one. Ater that one there come three together:an ivory one with golden teeth, e green agate one with gold [trunk has a small chip off] and another stone one with gold. After those there come three together again:a lapis lazuli one, an agate one and an amamthist one, all with gold and the lapis lazuli one has a small chip of its trunk. After those there come another three, all with gold:an ivory one, a coral one and another stone one. on the other side of the big pendant it starts with a massif siler one. After that one there come three together with gold: an ivory one with golden teeth, an amathist one and a tiger eye one. After those there come three together with gold: an ivory one, a coral one and a rose quartz one. After that there come 4 together; two coral ones a green stone one and an ivory one. Only one of them is completely ok, the other ones have 3 and a half leg, but their trunks are ok. Also they are on silver and not on gold. The damages are not big, and you can see them only with good glasses, but they are there. They come from somebody who had a big elephant collection. Weight is 135 gram [4.76 ounces].
