Description: My pictures don't do this item justice. The pin / pendant is composed of mixed media, including bronze, (brass) silver, turquoise and onyx which form a dramatic geometric pattern on the body of the brooch. Employing the technique Tono called piedra negra- the top metals have been fitted into a silver backing. Tono with a flourished tilde on his trademark signature: Hecho En Mexico; Sterling, Taxco ( in a circle), AC (conjoined, in the center of the circle: Piedra Negra; T 109 This pin / brooch is 2 9/16th" long by 1 1/4" wide x 1/8th " thick. It is in excellent vintage condition.
