Description: A superb example of a Chinese Tongzhi Mark & period porcelain bowl, c1862-1874. It measures 6 inches wide by 2.5 inches high. The decoration of Landscape to the out-side edge is painted with gold on a Salmon ground with the interior finished with a Famille rose palette of floral and insect decoration. Beside the reign mark is a pierced hand dotted Family name or crest to whom the bowl would have belonged to. The condition is just superb in every way with no loss of gilding or enamel work. A beautiful piece from this period and a great addition to any oriental collection. Questions welcome and additional pictures available.
