Description: A biscuit or cookie jar with an attached wicker handle. This container stands 5 in. tall plus the handle. There is one tiny glaze miss on the handle holder. I believe from the mfg. process.Bottom marked Made in Occupied Japan in black. This would date it from '46-'52 when all items produced in Japan had to be marked this way. It measures 4.75 in. diameter. Tomato shape with handpainted leaves and decorated stem on the lid. No chips, cracks or repairs. Use, display and enjoy.
