Description: Offered here is a large and beautiful oval tole tray that is hand painted in a floral motif in gold on a black ground. The sprays of gold flowers and foliage are punctuated nicely with small bright red blooms. The painting is skillfully done and is monogrammed by the artist MLM. The tray was probably painted in 1940-50. It measures approximately 20" by 16". It is in very good condition with a small bit of flaking on the edge.
