Description: This is a great character jug or toby jug of Mr. Pickwick from Dickens. This toby was made in the 1890s by William Kent potteries of Staffordshire England. The standing figure measures 7.5 inches high and is hand painted. The toby is listed on page 39 of Collecting British Toby Jugs by Vic Schuler.
