Description: This little box has a beautiful dark patina,and it looks like it is made of teak. I believe it is handmade, with 8 tiny little nails of differing sizes, and a beautiful tiny brass clasp and hinge. The bottom of the box is about 1 inch shorter in length than the lid. On the lid is a handcarved dagger or scimitar, with "DE MOLAY" finely incised along the knife. I am guessing this was a snuff box, but I do not know for sure. It appears to be quite old.
