Full plate tintype measuring 6 7/8" wide by 5" tall. Cowboy on horse photographed in front of photographer's studio with H. K. HEISS PHOTOGRAPHER printed on sign. The lettering is backward in the tintype. To the left of the photographer's sign is a sign that reads, "BATHING". The next two letters on the Bathing sign are "RO". There are some bumps and bends in the tintype. There is rust in several spots on the back side of the tintype. There is rust on the front at the upper right corner and at the right edge and small amounts at the lower corners The condition overall can be seen in the photo provided. This is an interesting image of a cowboy in a nice large size. We were unable to find any information on H.K. Heiss. So we don't know the location of the photographer's studio. This tintype turned up with two others of the same size. The other two have a man and a horse in each but the men in the other two do not appear to be cowboys. Each of these tintypes is being offered in separate listings.
