Authentic Salvaged Tin Ceiling Picture Frame We have taken old salvaged Tin Ceiling from an early house in Upstate NY, wrapped it on board, and made it into a picture frame. Overall Dimensions: 11" x 11" Back Opening approx.: 4.5" x 6.5" The Color is Antique White with a few rust spots and a great Anthemion design. Some Paint is missing and has a small 2 inch tear in the tin. We have added glass, hanger & a stand. This great item comes with a new print of a beautiful woman with a great floral hat, but has flexible points and you could remove the wall paper and put what you wanted in this great reclaimed frame. We salvage old fluted molding, clapboard & Tin Ceiling from old Victorians & farm houses(1890's-early 1900's) in upstate NY. All the homes were beyond repair. Since this tin is 100+ years old, and has withstood 100 yrs of original weathering and aging.... there is a strong possibility that the tin might have some DIRT on it! We do a light cleaning of the tin, but we leave it as found. Please also note that this paint might contain lead due to the old age.
