Description: An antique Tiffany cast sterling silver letter opener~letter knife Circa 1920 hallmarked for Tiffany & Co. The letter opener has good weight and feels solid in hand; the design embodies the elegance of the Edwardian Era. Imagine a time when most communication was in written form and letters were eagerly anticipated and opened. Solid weight and a nice size adds to the impressive appeal of this piece. I acquired the letter opener on a recent trip to Paris along with other sterling items, inkstands, pocket watch holders and more. I will be listing these items over the next few weeks.
