Description: Vintage 18K yellow gold post-back earrings designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co. The “Scribble” design (sometimes called “Graffiti” or “Squiggle”) is probably the artist’s most famous creation and became one of Tiffany’s most desirable pieces. The “Scribble” line is no longer in production and examples are getting difficult to find. The earrings were made in several sizes, this being the most delicate. The backs are dated 1983, are marked by Tiffany & Co., and are signed Paloma Picasso. The earrings are presented in their Tiffany pouch. Origin: America, ca. 1983. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 5/8” x 1-7/16”. Weight: 4.9 grams.
