Description: This is a beautiful sterling silver tray by the renowned silversmiths at Tiffany & Co. in a timeless neoclassical design. This large circular tray has a plain field with a wide rim decorated with swags. This classic silver tray is exceptionally versatile and could be used as a serving piece, a support for a centerpiece, or engraved as a commemorative plate. It is in excellent condition and is the finest quality of Tiffany's heavy gauge silver. It measures approx. 13 1/2" in diameter, and weighs approx. 33 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the mark of Tiffany & Co., the words Makers, Sterling Silver, pattern number 23553, and the letter L for William L. Tusk, great grandson of Tiffany's founder and used from 1956-1965. This lovely antique silver tray is traditional yet modern and would be a great addition to any table setting.
