Description: This is lovely sterling silver picture frame by Tiffany & Co. executed in a clean, architectural style. This vertical, rectangular picture frame has a solid silver border with simple banding accented with an abstracted leaf in each corner. The wood back has a hinged wood stand are mounted in sterling silver. This frame is in excellent condition, and measures approx. 11 1/2" high and approx. 8 3/4" wide, and the interior frame measures 9 3/4" high and 7" wide. It is marked on the back with the mark of Tiffany & Co., the words Makers, Sterling Silver, pattern number 16554U, order number 4915, and the letter M for John C. Moore, Tiffany's president from 1907-1947. This handsome antique silver picture frame is an uncommon design made with Tiffany's superior quality and craftsmanship.
