Description: Beautiful portrait plate made in 1880's by C. Tielsch in Silesia, Germany. Light green background with burgundy trim with gold filigree trim. Portrait is of a lady with a child by a stream - they have been gathering wheat and flowers. Beautifully done and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Marked in green on bottom with eagle and C.T. Altwasser Silesia. I have others that coordinate with his one on goantiques - get them all and display them together!
