Description:
**1** This is an old advertising print for Chesterfield cigarettes. This is a very good example of the typical advertising art of the 1920’s and 30’s and is in very good condition. The picture is appealingly matted in a gray colored mat that compliments the green dress of the skater. The print itself measures 12” x 9.25” but measures 16.75” x 13.75” after it is matted and the attractive dark stained wood frame trimmed with gold colored accents is added. The picture is handsomely framed, matted, and beautifully preserved.
**2** This is a very cheery and bright print. This beautiful equestrian picture is in very good condition and is a wonderful representation of the artist’s confident brushwork and rich color saturation. The golden blonde hair of the woman and the warm browns of the horse are in bold contrast to the cool dark blue of the background as well as the woman’s uniform. This picture is done in the typical style of the 1940’s and 50’s. The picture is cleverly framed in a dark gold colored wood frame that really brings out the warm colors of the skin and hair of the woman and horse, complimenting the picture beautifully. The entire piece measures 10.75” x 9.75”.
**3** This print from a watercolor is full of mellow pastel hues, which helps give this picture the relaxed feel of childhood. This 9.5” x 7.5” picture is in good condition and is attractively framed in a dark stained wood frame trimmed with gold, which makes the entire piece measure 11” x 9”.
