Description: Thomas Rose Miles fl. 1869-1888

A Fine 19th century painter of landscapes and coastal scenes. Exhibited at the Royal Academy and Suffolk Street 1869-1888. He painted in a bold, free style and effectively captured the movements and mood of the sea. One of his works hangs in the National Gallery in Sydney.
