Description: Hand made and carved wooden thistle bench box from Scotland C.1900. The seat raises to provide storage for everything from use as a man's dresser valet to recipes or playing cards. Carved as a miniature apprentice bench with thistle notif on the back. Interesting design on front as well. Stands on 4 small feet. Excellent condition. Measures 8L X 5.75H X 4.25D.
