Description:
This lovely heavy gold banded relish dish from the early 1900s is marked on the back in red: Theodore Haviland/Limoges/France and also has the impressed letters TH with the Legion of Honor Symbol. In my Kovel's Book of Marks it says that the impressed TH with Legion of Honor Symbol was used to identify whiteware 1894-1957. It also has the Theodore Haviland/ Limoges/France done in red overglaze as being used from 1892-1913. In very good condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 1 1/4 inches high, 9 inches long and 5 5/8 inches wide. I also have the matching vegetable bowl please see item #theoveggie1489, casserole item #theocass1541, sugar bowl and creamer item #theosugr1542 and cake plate item #theocake1488. A beautiful dish that would match any Limoges Dish pattern and an addition to any Theodore Haviland Limoges Collection.
SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
