Description: A Second Empire large French carved mirror, gilt frame , with a hand carved wooden Putti, large size of 86 inches tall and 27 inches wide, new crystal, and the Carved Putti is measuring 10 inches height , just the wood sculpture worths the price we are asking for this period French item. Made in France during the Second Empire 1850 to 1880, this period was rich and exuberant , and motifs were often drawn from the Renaissance as in this case. It is in very good conditions , considering it is 120 years old , gilding is not the original , but is in good conditions. Shipping within U.S. is $290 , sorry requires special packing and insurance.(included)
