SWISS 18k YELLOW GOLD MINUTE REPEATER built by HAUSER, ZIVY & Co. PRESENTATION Circa: 1917. Fie and rare. Slide activivating minute repeater with true, clear sound clarity. This watch was built by Hauser, Zivy & Co., Switzerland especially for a Mexico City high end Jeweler in 1917. Merchandised only through LA ESMERALDA, in Mexico City, Mexico in 1917 (at the time of the Mexican revolution). This superb original condition minute repeater comes with the original "La Esmeralda" leather with blue felt interior presentation display case. Fully functional, clean, running, and accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Silver with a Guilloche pattern center section and clear Roman figures and original hands. Signed: "La Esmeralda". Superb original condition and a unique treatment.
MOVEMENT: All nickel with red ruby pressed in jewel settings, three finger nickel bridge, 19 ewels. Free of distraction and original to the case. Very nice.
CASE: All original solid 18k yellow gold. Slide activatiing repeater arm. 50mm in diameter and only 10mm thick (very thin for any pocket watch). Case marked: "18k on all inside covers and "LA ESMERALDA/ MEXICO" on the dust cover. Original owner's signature exists on the front surface; "Lic/ manuel Cervante". Exceptionally nice.
