Of flaring form, the sides carved in relief with two lions attacking two bulls, the latter facing each other, a rosette above one their backs. On small circular foot. Material : Alabaster . Culture : Sumerian, c. 2900 B.C. Condition : Chip to side above one lion’s head. Display stand included. Provenance: The Erlenmeyer collection, sold at Sotheby’s London, July 1992, lot N. 276. This item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity for culture, period, material and size.
