Breech loaded and lanyard fired. Original, traditional Naval wooden, two wheeled carriage. Barrel marked "Mfg'd by Strong Fire Arms Co. New Haven Conn. U.S.A.." Carriage marked "Susie", likely the name of the yacht it was on at one time.
