Description: This is an Old Straw Stuffed Teddy Bear, the fur is Mohair, he is fully jointed and possibly a Steiff. The color of the bear is a golden tone, he needs a cleaning. We believe he was made between 1900 and 1910. Original foot pads, the front paw pads we have replaced, along with the eyes as those where missing when we received him, we replaced the eyes with antique shoe buttons. The bear has an original stitched nose and mouth. The mohair is in good condition with minor loss for its age, a couple of minor patches of mohair loss. The bear has a small original string on his chest under his chin, this might of held a tag at one time. Feel free to check out our other Steiff up for auction this week
