Description: A really detailed grasshopper !!! I am sure this stick pin has a history, but have been unable to track it down. I say this because of the inscription on the back. It is marked: C in circle/A. E???or?RGIONE '74/Faneuil Hall '76.The question marks represent the letters that are covered up by the stick pin itself. It looks like there could be 3 or 4 letters. The grasshopper itself is a representation of the original grasshopper weathervane that was atop Faneuil Hall in Boston, Mass. It looks as though it is goldplated, but has a spot or two on the back where the finish has come off. You can see the spot to the left of the "pin" in the second photo. But, overall it is in good condition. It measures aprox. 1 1/4"X1/2"X2 1/2". The shipping fees quoted are for first class/No insurance in USA.
