Every section of this charming & unique Sterling note pad is hallmarked. Please see my photos. The pen rest, base as well as both covers hugging the paper pad are Sterling. The pen is not, it is silver plated. It needs lead, it's empty. When the pen is at rest it holds the top cover down, remove it and the cover flips up. The lovely desk accessory is in excellent condition with only very light surface lines. This is remarkable considering the piece is almost a 100 years old. Would look wonderful with a fancy engraved monogram. The buyer will be getting a lot of Sterling for the price.
