Description: Sterling silver, elongated jewelry/trinkets box, London, 1906, William Comyns - maker. Decorated with Joshua Reynolds' "Cherubs in the Clouds" motif. Lined with burgundy velvet. Underside of hinged lid is silver-gilt; underside of box is covered in black leather. @6" long x @1 3/4" deep x @1" high. Weighs @3.06 troy oz. Has one or two very minor "dints" that are commensurate with age and use.
