Description: Sterling silver, heart-shaped picture frame, Dominic & Haff, New York, ca. 1895; decorated with cherubs, flowers, etc. Shield-shaped cartouche has a script monogram that looks as if it is part of the design. @8" high x @6 1/4" wide; holds a @4" x@5" photo (with @3 1/4" x @4" showing). There is a tiny hole in the hair of the bottom cherub (see photo), probably meant for a pin to anchor the sterling to the green velvet backing. Very good condition.
