Description: Sterling silver, footed inkstand, London, 1916 - Crichton Bros. - maker. Standing on "bun" feet, this lovely inkstand has a pen-rest. Each individual part is separately screwed into the base with sterling silver secres (one "nut" has been replaced). Lid of trapezoid -shaped inkwell is hinged and the glass liner is present. Weighs @15.5 troy Oz. Sleek and beautiful and in nice condition.
