We are pleased to offer this beautiful sterling silver cubic zirconia and synthetic sapphire heart pendant with a 19 chain.
This is a very pretty piece. There are 16 cubic zirconia stones (about .06 of a carat each) on the inside of the heart and 15 synthetic sapphire stones around the outside. Together they make a stunning piece set on a sterling silver setting. This would be a great addition to ones jewelry collection.
Sterling silver is a white and highly reflective precious metal. Sterling refers to silver that is 92.5 percent pure, which should be stamped on the metal, sometimes accompanied by the initials of the designer or country of origin as a hallmark. Cubic zirconia (or CZ) is zirconium oxide a mineral that is extremely rare in nature but is widely synthesized for use as a diamond simulant. Because of its low cost, durability, and close visual likeness to diamond, synthetic cubic zirconia has remained the most economically important diamond simulant since 1976.
Sapphire, the September birthstone, comes in many colors. Historically, sapphire was believed to influence spirits, protect purity and make peace between enemies.
